June 27, 2006 the Official Katharine McPhee Day! in other words, her single has just been released nationwide. I was very much excited to get a hold of Ms. McPhee’s CD so I decided to go to Target the next day. Although before all that, there I was at the American Idol boards looking for some updates about Kat’s rankings in iTunes and Amazon. Then all of a sudden, some darn trolls and bashers we’re out in full force causing troubles at the forum. Especially on Amazon, some of them were rating Kat’s single 1 star and posted useless and ugly comments. There was one in particular that stated "She has Bulimia so I’ll just give her a 1 star" Sad really… I pity them. But on the bright side Kat recieved a total of 820 reviews as of now and that’s just like after two days of her release, isn’t that outrageous?! Quite frankly, they can hate her all they want but they’re not going to bring her down. Paris Hilton anyone? Yeah that’s right, almost half of the US population despise her and yet where does she stand? She just released her own album and her single is currently no. 8 on the Top 100 songs on iTunes.
Anyway, the next morning I was so excited because I can finally buy her single out in stores! But when we got to Target, they didn’t have it. (Curse you Target! Curse You!) So yeah, I was dissappointed. I stayed all day long at the American Idol boards and the Idolforums to keep track of Katharine’s single sales so far.
