America’s Next Top Model
Do I hate the show or what?! Not literally… but yet again the person I always pick to win always come short. It’s irritating! First, there was Kahlen (Don’t know if I spelled her name correctly, but I believe she was in Cycle 3 or 4?) I wanted her to win! but sadly she didn’t, but almost did, she was included in the finals together with Naima and Naima won. Here’s a picture of her:

Too bad, she was fit to be America’s Next Top Model. But anyways no worries, she’s a model now and is very successful so I’m happy for her. Although It would be much more fun if she won the damn thing.
Second of all there was Jayla, I believe she was in the Cycle 5. She had the looks of being the Top Model but she kind of cracks under pressure. So she didn’t really have great pictures and never stood out in front of the judges. People might consider her a rebel at times and you know arrogant or whatever, they don’t seem to like her personality. But I do…lol! And here is a picture of her:

Weird job huh? Never saw that one coming. Anyways, don’t know where she is right now or if she got a modeling contract. Again, a little dissappointed. She didn’t even make it to the Top 3.
Now it’s down to my third pick, which I really am dissappointed that she didn’t win. Stupid Tyra Banks! (Just kiddin’) I mean what the hell is wrong with you people?! This time I’m pretty sure that my pick was the ONE! the next America’s Next Top Model! But no, they didn’t. And Why is that?! I’ll tell you why…
Okay first I’ll show you a photo of my pick, JOANIE.

wow! can you believe that? she was a Sales Associate! She has class dude! what’d I tell you? Alright, alright… down to business.
Oh, she looks like a Victoria’s Secret Model don’t ya think? Hell yeah!
Now on to the facts…
Photoshoot 01 - Going Bald
Did she look great or what? Let’s focus on her eyes for a little while. Don’t you just love those stunning blue eyes? But of course it’s not as striking as Alexis Bledel’s blue eyes (which is to die for!) although it’s getting there.
If I would rate this picture from 1-10 then I would say about 7. It’s almost perfect but I don’t know, it’s not that striking really. I hate the bald head.
Photoshoot 02- Icy Hot
Now here’s a fierce look!
I loved this episode because they were doing the photoshoot inside an ice factory or storage of some sort and boy was it cold! The other models could barely strike a pose, all they do is shiver. ooohhh… love it!
My rating would be….

Photoshoot 03- London bridge is falling down, falling down (Hehehe)
Okay so she’s playing the role of Cinderella and the whole idea of this photoshoot is that they’re falling down into a mat and each model plays a different role of fairytale characters. She just so happened to be Cinderella.

Great body language, love it! Although I have to say the face is not that striking but it’s not a bad picture, it’s just average in my opinion.

Photoshoot- 04 Dreams in Life
In this photo shoot, Tyra asks the models what their ambitions are and guess what Joanie chose? Being a MOM, how sweet is that? she clearly stated "I think the most important job is being a mom" you go girl!
Now does your moms look like that? Maybe… lol! She’s more of a desperate housewife look here…

Photoshoot 05- Break Dance
Now look at that face! That’s personality! I don’t know why the judges say she has no personality and that she doesn’t stand out enough, but you know what? Forget them!
Don’t care what they say but she had a lot of fun in this photoshoot and it turned out to be a great one.

Photoshoot 07- Little Mermaid
Ooohh…
She’s flipped upside down and she still managed to take a pretty picture. Oh and by the way before it was her turn to be flipped, she drank a cup of coffee and well…
you’re about to flip upside down and you drink a whole cup of coffee?
seriously, that’s a no no.
But did you see her throw up? No.
She did great in the photoshoot!

Photoshoot 08- Flying with Dumbo or should I just say riding in an elephant
Now here’s an awesome picture!
Great pose! She looks like a beautiful amazon woman! More of a civilized one. lol!
This episode was rather interesting because there are four girls left: Sara, Joanie, Jade and Danielle.
Now in this photoshoot Sara copied Joanie’s poses and that is just unacceptable!
But even though she photo copied her, she didn’t even come close to beating Joanie’s picture.
What a copycat!

Photoshoot 09- Baywatch?
I loved that innocent look on her face. She really nailed this one! Totally worthy of becoming the Next Top Model.
In this picture she’s looking much more like a Victoria’s Secret Model. Just like Giselle Bundchen, but she’s much prettier than her. I think.
And there’s no doubt about me saying she’s a Victoria’s Secret Model girl.
They should definitely hire her!

Last Photoshoot- CoverGirl Ad
Here is a classy and elegant look for Joanie. Definitely top notch!
Now I am going to blab about why the judges didn’t pick her to win?!
How dare they?!
Are they freakin’ out of their minds?!
I loved twiggy though, she seems to want Joanie to win because she knows she is the best.
Now the reason why Joanie should win:
1. She has different facial expressions, which is important in being a model.
2. She’s not bad at the Runway
3. She has a great voice and is good for commercials
4. Her overall presence is Modely like
5. She does have a personality
Now the reason why Danielle shouldn’t have won:
1. She doesn’t have many facial expressions in her photos, by that I mean, that she has a signature look. It’s not a bad thing but I think model’s shouldn’t have one look alone. They should learn to adapt through their environments and that’s what Joanie does.
2. She has a southern accent, which I’m sure can be fixed, but here’s the thing. Joanie, pretty face, lovely pictures, great voice. Are you guys serious?! She deserves that title.
3. I for one don’t think she is model like in person.
4. She’s been in the bottom 2, Joanie wasn’t.
5. I just don’t approve her being the winner.
Now here is why the judges chose Danielle:
1. She has the Cover Girl Ad look while they thought Joanie was too elegant
2. They love her. So what?
3. And I don’t know what else to say…
It’s just ridiculous because every season they keep changing their minds on which or how ‘re going to determine the winner. It’s either she has personality or she has great photos. Now that’s just plain damn stupid.
Joanie had the total package and she didn’t. Just because she lack personality?
Hello?! In the real world, they don’t freakin’ care! The important thing is that you know how to model! Arrrgghhh… but you know what. I’m glad Jade didn’t win it. If you have no idea who she is, then good for you. You haven’t seen evil at it’s fullest extent. Hahahaha! Kidding! Jade is an arrogrant person who feels like she is the undiscovered supermodel. are you kidding me?! you’re not close of being a model and you say you’re a supermodel?! how weird is that?
Anyways… I’m sure Joanie will have a great career ahead of her and she can kiss Tyra Banks goodbye! I do hope Victoria’s Secret would make her one of their own so that she can prove to Tyra and the judges how wrong they were.
Although as much as I like Danielle… I still think that Joanie deserved to win.
Guess I’ll have to wait and see Danielle’s Cover Girl commercial…
If she would still have that southern accent, then Tyra watch out!
P.S
I forgot to include the black and white photos which I consider to be the second best photograph of hers. I can’t find it now though… believe me she rocked that one! Tyra was the one directing the photo shoot and they have to like have tears in their eyes. The idea of the photo shoot was to show the emotions but also you have to look pretty doing it. And well… Joanie did both!
